RAINBOW ACCOUNTING: THE FUN AND EASY WAY TO LEARN ACCOUNTING
Accounting is the language of any business.
If you work for an enterprise and are currently managing any aspect of the business, or if you aspire to move up to management, then you need to understand what is Accounting. Likewise, if you are an entrepreneur, or you ever plan to start your own business, you need to understand, at the very least, the basic principles of accounting.
By speaking the language, it makes them appreciate how business activities affect the company’s financial position. It gives them the power to avoid serious business risks. Ultimately, they make intelligent business decisions.
Sadly, accounting has an undeserved repute of being a dull subject. To remove this stigma, Orly Tugob, a CPA-Toastmaster, created Rainbow Accounting. Like a powerful speech, the program is delivered in an engaging manner. Colors, charts, graphs and pictures are used to identify the features of the balance sheet and income statement. It is not mathematical! Attendees work on a play board as a tool to analyze accounting data. This tool drills in and translates the technical terms in an easy to grasp manner. Balancing transactions is easy and fun. It erases the ‘accounting is a boring’ stigma.

ORLY is a CPA with more than 25 years of banking experience. He has walked through a wide spectrum of business operations. As a result, he discovered the success formula of organizations – continuous human resource training. As a trainer, Orly mixes humor, motivational, ‘edutainment’ and ‘storyteaching’ techniques. For two consecutive years, Orly competed at Toastmasters International Speech Contests in San Antonio, Texas, and Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A. He placed 2nd runner up among all countries in the region.

ORLY P. TUGOB
Orly trains business professionals to understand complex enterprise scenarios, analyze financial reports and present ideas with powerful persuasion. As a CPA with 25 years of banking experience, he has examined a wide spectrum of business operations. It resulted in his discovery of a value-enhancing training formula for human resource. Orly has coached and written speeches for managers, local and foreign executives that lead to their career’s upward trajectory. His has helped a finance company to expand to more than 15 branches nationwide.
As a trained negotiator, he worked on the settlement of more than Php300M real estate past due accounts.
Orly is a multi-awarded Toastmaster, he represented the Philippines in Toastmasters International Competitions in Atlanta and Texas, USA. He won 2nd place among countries he competed within the region.
RACHEL R. CABATO
Rachel has over 20 years as both generalist and specialist in Human Resource development. As AVP for Human Resource in a group of 4 multi-national organization companies with 1,300 employees, the HR team that she led was responsible for Planning and Research, Recruitment and Hiring, Training and Development, Personnel Administration, and Industrial Relations. Her experience includes writing training manuals, designing learning exercise materials and writing personnel policy manual. She is an executive coach both in government and in multi-national corporations. She is a facilitator for training and development programs in the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong and China.
VIC P. DELA DINGCO
A professional banker, former VP of Citibank, with extensive experience in various aspects of the financial market, more particularly, Treasury and Trust Operations, Credit and Risk, Credit Cards Business, Consumer Finance, Thrift and SME Banking, Investment & Rural Banking and Business Development in general. He has developed a wide network of clients both individuals and corporate entities through affiliations with professional as well as civic and social organizations. Vic, is an advocate for the promotion of microfinance and small and medium enterprises (SMEs). Social involvement includes Rotary International and Couples For Christ.
Atty. MA ESMERALDA REYES CUNANAN
Legal Counsel with extensive experience in various legal aspects of the financial market; such as investment banking, including mergers and acquisitions and corporate reorganization, insurance issues, compliance issues, trust operations, real estate, human resources, and administration.
